The Irish Loop Region (Zone 20) is one of Newfoundland and Labrador's 20 economic development zones. It is located in the southeast part of the Avalon Peninsula, extending from Bay Bulls to the community of Riverhead, St. Mary's Bay. Within the Irish Loop boundaries are 19 communities: Aquaforte, Bauline, Bay Bulls, Calvert, Cape Broyle, Renews - Cappahayden, Fermeuse, Ferryland, Gaskiers - Point La Haye, Mobile, St. Vincent's - St. Stephen's - Peter's River, Portugal Cove South, Riverhead, St. Mary's, St. Michael's - Burnt Cove - Bauline East, St. Shott's, Tors Cove, Trepassey and Witless Bay. Bay Bulls is about 15 minutes drive from St. John's.
